The practice offers a variety of appointments with the practice team.

All Practice Nurse/Health Care Assistant appointments are pre book-able. (Usually 2-3 weeks ahead).

GP appointments are offered via two methods, pre-booked and book on the day.

Pre-booked appointments

• Appointment between 8.30–9.00am (book-able ahead).
• All evening appointments (book-able ahead)
• Joint appointments (i.e. minor op’s, painkilling injections, examinations) (book-able usually 3 weeks ahead).

Booked appointments

• All other appointments are available to book on the day. The reception team is available to arrange these between 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Cancelled appointments

As soon as you are aware you no longer need to keep your appointment please contact the surgery to inform reception. On average in 2009, 500 appointments a month were not cancelled resulting in wasted appointments for GP’s, Nurses and Health Care Assistants. This equates to 7% of all available appointments.
