Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Manager?

Probably not. A lot of artists rush to find a manger when more time should be spent developing your talent, your act, your brand and your fanbase.

When the business aspect of your career is interfering with you being able to make music, that's when you need a manager; until then your best option is to invest in Artist Development.

How do we apply for management with you?

No one likes having their time wasted (especially Trina) so we have a strict protocol to follow when agreeing to submissions from artists for traditional artist management.

You MUST:

  • Have an organically grown following of over 10k on social media (we will check they are real followers)

  • Have high quality songs ready to be recorded

  • Unless you are under 18 please don’t get your parents, your dog, your ex or your dad pretending to be your uncle pretending to be your PR (THIS ACUTALLY HAPPENED) to contact us. If you’re ready for this you can speak for yourselves

  • Must be able to commit to what it takes to break through

  • Must be able to sell at least 100 tickets to your live show

  • You must be prepared to respect our boundaries. You might have to put all the hours you can into your artistry but we run strict business hours. We’ll hustle in those hours but we have lives and families outside of work and protecting our peace is key to being badass in our work modes.

What is the difference between Artist Development and Traditional Management?

Traditional Management is based on a commission paid on money an artist makes. 20% is the industry standard.

We offer both exclusive (us only) and non-exclusive management to artists, composers, producers and engineers. We also help with bespoke and one-off negotiations and agreements.

Artist Development is a paid for consultancy service to help get you to the levels needed for a traditional management deal. If you are developed by us you are NOT expected to sign to us and when the time is right we will help you find the right manager for you.

There is no criteria to meet when applying for Artist Development, so hit us up if you can invest in yourself and are ready to take that step.

Do you invest money into your artists?

No, is the short answer.

We will add value in other ways but it does not fall on us to invest money into your career. We will, however, help you with funding for your artistry and work hard to get you syncs, label deals and publishing deals if those are some of your goals. We champion the independent artist route and can assist in many ways to ensure your brand and reach as an independent

If I send a demo in will you reply?

We have the best of intentions and aim to reply to all demo submissions. Our priority is to our signed artists and our time is dedicated to them so we may take a while to respond to submissions or non pressing issues. We tend to be quite honest with our constructive feedback too.
